Rejoice Always

Speaker: Sis. Stella Dhinakaran

Gist: Rejoice! The Lord will do marvelous things for you.

Beloved! Many times you may be concerned about you future. As a result fear may begin to rule your life. But the Bible says, “Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!” (Philippians 4:4). Yes, the Lord encourages you to rejoice in Him. He says, “Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice, for the Lord has done marvelous things” (Joel 2:21). The Lord will do marvelous things in your life.

In the Bible we see that Joshua was chosen by the Lord to lead the Israelites in Moses’ stead. He was dismayed as how he could lead a massive number of Israelites under his leadership. The Lord strengthened him saying, "Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go" (Joshua 1:9). The Lord further promised him saying, "No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you” (Joshua 1:5).

The Lord strengthened Joshua when he was afraid to lead the Israelites and enabled him to lead them to Canaan. The Lord will strengthen you in times of distress as He strengthened Joshua and will enable you to overcome things that concern you.

I gave my heart to the Lord in 1954. Though many years have passed by, His love for me has never diminished. He has surrounded me with His love. Though the devil tried to do away with my family, the Lord was with me during times of pain and tears. He comforted me and strengthened me when I lost my darling daughter. He continues to strengthen me and I rejoice in Him because He is with me always.

The Lord shall be as Immanuel (God with us) with you and remove every fear from your life. He will bless your future and make you glad. So, rejoice in Him!

Prayer:

Loving Heavenly Father,

I commit my life into Your mighty hands. Mould it for Your glory. I thank and praise You for the promise that You will be with me and no man shall be able to stand before me all the days of my life. Help me to do mighty things for You. In Jesus' name I pray.

Amen.
