Path of LightSpeaker: Sis. Stella Dhinakaran Gist: The Lord shall make His face to shine upon You in this world of darkness. Beloved! In this world when problems crush us, the Lord shall deliver and lead us into the path of light. The Bible says, “For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; but the Lord will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you. The Gentiles shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising” (Isaiah 60:2,3).
We should hold onto the Word of life to shine as lights in this world of darkness (Philippians 2:14). Yes beloved, the Lord will make our lives bright. Though the world may be plunged into darkness, the Lord will protect us and lead us in this world. When we cling to the Lord fervently, no evil shall befall us. The Lord shall cause us to shine for His glory and darkness will be far from our lives. The Kings will come to the glory of the Lord that is on us.
Let us look at the life of Moses. He waited on the Lord and obeyed every word of the Lord. When Moses came from the presence of God, the people saw his face was radiant. When we spend time in the presence of the Lord, our faces shall also be radiant. We should seek the Lord early in the morning. Then He will remove the darkness from our lives and cause His face to shine upon us. The Lord will make us His blessed son/daughter in this world. God says, “You will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart” (Jeremiah 29: 13).
In the Bible, Apostle Paul after the divine encounter with the Lord on his way to Damascus asked Him, “Lord, what do You want me to do?” (Acts 9:6) The Lord said, “Arise and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.” When Paul surrendered his life to the Lord and obeyed Him, the Lord used him mightily for His glory. Similarly when we surrender ourselves to Him and obey Him, the Lord shall cause His face to shine upon us. He will do mighty things through us. He shall bless us and make us a blessing and a light to this world.
Prayer:
Loving Gracious Father,
When problems crush me in life, You deliver me and lead me to Your light. Cause Your face to shine upon me in this evil world. Help me to seek You and grow in You. Father, help me to live a life that pleases You and walk in Your light. I surrender myself to You. Use me to do mighty things for You. In Jesus’ name I pray.
