THE JOY OF ETERNITYSpeaker: Sis. Stella Dhinakaran Gist: Jesus restored eternity to mankind. Through Him we can be made worthy to enter in. You might have come across the famous books 'Paradise Lost' and 'Paradise Regained'. The very titles of these books convey how the lost eternity was restored to mankind by the matchless sacrifice of Jesus Christ. I am just reminded of the prayerful life of my sister’s husband Mr. George who had great love for my husband Dr. D.G.S. Dhinakaran. Once my husband was hospitalized due to a severe heart ailment and at that crucial time, he fasted and cried unto the Lord for my husband’s healing. My husband graciously recovered and we were so obliged to his prayers. But suddenly one day, Mr. George suffered a major heart problem and soon after that he slept in the Lord. All of us were greatly distressed about his sudden demise. But the Spirit of God comforted us by showing a vision to my husband in prayer that how brother George was received by an angel in heaven and being led to the loving arms of Jesus. Immediately, the Lord of Lords embraced him and said, “My son, you laboured so sincerely for Me during your lifetime. Through the many prayer gatherings and Jesus Calls meetings that you have conducted, numerous people received My blessings. All this has greatly pleased me. Now come dear son, enter into the eternal glory of your Master”. The Lord also showed him a beautiful mansion that He has prepared for him and gladdened him. Today, no doubt he is peacefully rejoicing there in the Master's glory.
Dear friend, I encourage you to realize that there is an eternal life, full of divine joy and peace. Just imagine how wonderful it is going to be when we shall be dwelling in the most sweet and holy presence of our eternal Master! But at this point of time, we should know who is going to make us ready for the eternal life. It is none other than the Holy Spirit who will make us worthy to enter the Kingdom of God. The Bible says in Titus 3:5, “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Spirit”. He will remove your weaknesses and make you stronger witnesses to bear good witness for Christ. Acts 1:8 explains how. “But you shall receive power, after that the Holy Spirit is come upon you: and you shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” So rely on Him and He will fill you with His matchless joy (Romans 14:17). Let me remind you of the wonderful promise of God today that is found in Romans 8: 30. And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified. May God bless you accordingly.

Our Loving Heavenly Father,
Thank you for giving your only Son as an ultimate price to regain the lost eternity to mankind. Loving Lord Jesus, cleanse me through your precious blood. Help me to lead an upright and successful life through the help of the Holy Spirit. So that I may experience your glory even in my day-to-day life. This I pray in your most precious Name.
