MIGHTY SWORDSpeaker: Sis. Stella Dhinakaran Gist: You can do all things through Christ, who strengthens you. The Lord will empower you to walk with courage and overcome all obstacles. St.Paul, the apostles says, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13).
He had already prepared a plan for you. When you are filled with the power of God, He will strengthen you to walk in His plan even in the midst of all the tribulations. Therefore, cry unto Him saying, “Oh! Lord I become weary and dismayed, when I pass through distress. Please strengthen me to fulfill Your plan.” “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind” (2 Timothy 1:7).
There was a sister called Eddar Woodworth, who loved the Lord. One day, the Lord said to her, “Arise and do my ministry.” But she said, “Oh God! I am an ordinary woman. What could I do? What kind of ministry will I be able to perform for you?”
After a few days, all of a sudden, she began to lose one child after another. Sorrow engulfed her. At last, when all other children died, and only one child remained alive, she cried, “Lord, let me do your ministry from now onwards.”
Then the Lord lifted her up and used her mightily for His glory. Thousands of people, who heard her speak the word of God, were convinced of their sins and cried out to Him for the forgiveness of their sins.
“But may the God of all grace who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen and settle you.” (1 Peter 5:10).
The Lord will lift you also to greater heights and He will use you mightily. When you submit yourself unto the Lord, He will transform you to be a mighty sword.
Dear friend, the Lord wants you to arise and shine. He has already prepared a plan for you. Cry unto Him fervently saying, “Oh! Lord, help me not to lean on my own understanding. Forgive my sins and fill me with your anointing.” He will anoint you with the Holy Spirit and strengthen you amidst your tribulations. You will arise and shine for Him.
Prayer:
Almighty God,
I thank You because You alone are my strength and You had already prepared a plan for me. Help me not to lean on my own understanding. Grant me the grace to overcome the weaknesses of the flesh and enable me to run the race set before me with enthusiasm and joy in You. Bless me this day and help me to fly high above like an eagle.
