BE STRENGTHENEDSpeaker: Sis. Stella Dhinakaran Gist: God will strengthen you, when you hold on to Him firmly. God will be your refuge when you hold on to Him firmly.
Isaiah 14:32 says, “That the Lord has founded Zion, and the poor of His people shall take refuge in it.” Whenever you face challenges, the Lord will be your refuge and He will protect you from all dangers.
God blessed me with a happy family. But, suddenly my husband Bro.D.G.S.Dhinakaran became very sick and his lungs were greatly affected. The doctors gave no hope of his recovery. I was broken and helpless. But I looked unto God, my refuge. He strengthened me in my distress. He did not forsake us. God miraclously healed my husband.
“The people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.” (Daniel 11:32)
When the King of Egypt pursued the children of Israel, the Israelites were terrified. And at that time, Moses looked at the people of Israel and said, “Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever” (Exodus 14:13,14).
Today, you may also be facing tribulations in your life. Do not be disheartened, the Lord would wage the battle for you and will give you victory.
Psalms 16:8 says, “I have set the Lord always before me; Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved.” David was not in dismay, even at the point of losing everything. He strengthened himself in the Lord and he recovered everything that he was deprived and nothing lacked (1 Samuel 30:6,19).
Have you lost any of your dear ones? Do you grieve about their demise? The Lord will console you, give you solace and establish you. Be filled with the Holy Spirit and become one with Him. 1 Corinthians 6:17 says, “But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.”
Dear friend, when you are filled by the Holy Spirit, a divine peace will fill you. The hand of the Lord will guide you and you will be strengthened. He will bless you and your family abundantly.
Prayer:
Abba Father,
You are my refuge. Let the hand of the Lord be upon me and guide me. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and strengthen me so that I may face all my problems boldly. Let the divine peace fill me and my family. Meet all my needs and help me to be a blessing to others. Give me Your grace and mercy for this new day.
