HEALTH AND WEALTHSpeaker: Dr. Paul Dhinakaran Gist: When the Spirit of God comes, He destroys the devil. God wants to show you His great mercy (2 Timothy 1:7). The devil brings great fear into your heart and prevents you from becoming a great person (Psalms 14:5; 53:5). When the Spirit of God in the form of great mercy comes into you, He destroys the fear brought about by the devil.
Lord Jesus Christ had no fear and therefore stood boldly before His contemporary scholars and spoke with great authority. (Luke 2:47) They marveled at His wisdom (Matthew 22:22). Nobody could stand before the authority of Lord Jesus (Matthew 7:28,29). God expects the same from you. No more bowing down and being afraid of man. Of course, this never refutes the fact that you should subject to authority but this only means that you need not tremble in this world.
Fear such as, “Will I fail or get low marks? Will I get a good job? Will I get the desired promotion? Will my business prosper? Will I be able to lead my family and so on” are brought about by the devil. The Spirit of mercy destroys fear through God’s wisdom. Therefore, the Lord grants us the Word of wisdom through the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 12: 8-10). God will grant you divine wisdom to live in this world and help you overcome every situation.
God will abide with you and grant you great victory in all that you do. My
Friend, don’t be just satisfied with getting a job and earning a livelihood. God wants to lift you up in this nation. He will give you the Word of wisdom. You are called to rule this nation. You are the child of the King of kings and the Lord of lords.
Just cry out to God. “Lord! Fill me with the word of wisdom. I don’t want to be a failure in my business. I am Your child and therefore my business should prosper. Give me the word of wisdom. I must have the wisdom to run my family.”
Today God wants to give you the word of wisdom. He does not want you to tremble in this world. Don’t worry about tomorrow. Satan might put fear into your heart but God would bring stature to you. This happened to Jesus Christ. No man could stand before Him. You are a child of Jesus Christ and you must also be like that.
My dear Friend, turn your heart towards the Lord Jesus Christ. Today the Lord wants to make you a great person.
Finally God also wants to deliver you from the diseases that Satan brings upon you.
Job was afflicted with disease from head to foot (Job 30:18). The Spirit of God comes and raises a standard against the devil. Then God’s healing power descends and delivers you. God delivered a woman with a hunchback who had been bound by the devil for eighteen years. (Luke 13:16;2 Corinthians 3:17)
The Holy Spirit is greater than the greatest of devils. Any number of scanning done cannot identify the diseases brought about by the devil. The doctors cannot pinpoint the disease but the Holy Spirit can reveal the nature of your disease. When the Holy Spirit comes, He destroys the disease brought about by the devil because He has already crushed satan through the crucifixion on the cross of Calvary.
Prayer
Loving Lord,
Please remove fear from my heart and may Your divine wisdom and healing power descend on me today. I am Your child and therefore, help me not to submit to the lies that satan puts in my heart this day. Give me also the grace to crush satan under my feet. I admit that You have already conquered the evil one through the crucifixion on the cross of Calvary.
