MIGHTY GODSpeaker: Dr. Paul Dhinakaran Gist: God promises to supply all your needs. One of the names given is the mighty God (Isaiah 9:6). Devil brings worries into your life. Worry in turn fetches darkness. No devil is greater than Jesus Christ. Not only does God remove the darkness of sin but also removes the sicknesses that bring darkness into your life.
Job having lost his children, riches stood on the streets. He cried. “I looked for light; but darkness has come” (Job 30:26) All his days he also eats in darkness, and he has much sorrow and sickness and anger (Ecclesiastes 5:17) Such is the life of a person. But thank God, because Jesus Christ comforts you. “Trust Me! Don’t worry! I am your Father. I’ll be with you.”
God promises to supply all your needs (Matthew 6:25;34). “The devil robs from you but I will bless you’ says the Lord. Don’t be worried about tomorrow. God removes the darkness caused by worries. He corrects the works of the devil from robbing your simple joys, family life, job and so on. Today, He will deliver you from the devil that is robbing your joy.
A couple of days ago, a young woman testified in one of our Jesus Calls Television programme. Her testimony is as follows:
“Brother! A few days ago, you called out my name as ‘Sofia! Sofia!’ in the television programme. I am thirty four year old and not yet settled in life. I hated my parents thinking they had no concern about my future. I battled in the place of my work also. Frustration follows a pain that squeezed my heart. My heart would be thrown into shreds whenever I see another person prospering with a blessed family life. Ultimately I hated my life. I decided to run away from home. I locked myself inside a room.
That same night, my parents were watching your programme on the television. The sound penetrated through the locked room. You kept praying but I had nothing to do with God then.
Suddenly I heard my name. You told, ‘Sofia! Sofia! You feel as if nobody cares for you in this world. Jesus Christ cares for you. Never say God cannot do anything for me. Stop depending on mortal men for help but look up to God. Submit your life completely into the hands of the loving Lord. God desires to grant you a bright future and a happy family life.’
The Lord mentioned my need exactly. I opened the door. Ran outside. My parents got up and embraced me. The following day I went to office as usual. Even without my volition, I found everyone very understanding. I declared, ‘Now I have hope to live in this world because God loves me.’ God snapped the strings impregnated with worries that the devil had put around me in the form of a net called depression. I am now a woman who is set free from the bonds of the devil. I know that Jesus Christ will take care of me.”
Today God will grant you the same blessing. Are you suffering from financial or marital problems or is the devil standing by your side saying, ‘you cannot live in this world – commit suicide’ Do not be afraid. Just give your life into the hands of the Lord Jesus Christ who has conquered this devil. He has a plan for you and therefore will make a way for you. He is a mighty God who destroys the worries, sicknesses, sins and the devil who brings all these.
The loving Lord wishes to enter your heart and abide with you forever.
Prayer:
Almighty God,
I praise and thank You for conquering the devil and its evil works. May Your light shine in my life bringing back peace, joy and happiness. Step into my heart and abide with me always. I admit that You are a mighty God who does marvelous and great things beyond my comprehension. I praise You with all my heart. Bless me this day and enable me to resist the devil in such a way that he would flee from me.
