FELLOWSHIPSpeaker: Sis. Stella Dhinakaran Gist: Evaluate your relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and receive His blessings. How is the love of our Lord Jesus Christ? It is sweeter than grape fruit juice. (Songs of Solomon. 1:2, 4:10) The word of God is tastier than honey (Psalms 119:103).
On finding the word of God, digest it for it brings gladness to your soul (Jeremiah 15:16). Such is the love of the Lord and His presence is fullness of joy (Psalms 16:11).
In what ways can you experience the sweetness of God’s love?
First of all, you can experience His pleasant presence through the fellowship you have with Him (Songs of Solomon 7:10). People of the world lovingly address their children. I loved my father and mother very dearly. Even after my father passed away, my love for him continued. One day the Lord asked me, “My dear child, am I not loving you more than your earthly father?” From that day onwards I began to cling on to my heavenly Father alone (Songs of Solomon 8:5).
The loving Lord asks you to abide in Him just like that of a vine and its branches (John 15:4,5). Follow the exemplary example of our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Peter 2:21) The Bible says that the Father and the Son are united (John 10:30). Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of the Father worked and fulfilled the Father’s will (John 19:30).
John, the disciple of Jesus Christ , - a man who has nature like that of ours, wrote that his fellowship is with the Father and His Son Jesus Christ. (1 John 1:3) For what reason has the Father called you? It is to have fellowship with our Lord Jesus Christ. Being faithful, He would protect you.
How should you be to get this protection?
Do not lead a hypocritical life even after coming into the fellowship of Christ. You are His chosen and beloved. Never allow darkness to settle within you and if it does uproot and throw it away (1 John 1:6,7). Anything that prevents your intimate relationship with the Lord should be identified every minute and curbed immediately (Galatians 5:24). God calls you to lead a holy and testimonial life. Don’t live like others. When you leave this website, go with the determination that you would lead a life pleasing to God.
A certain girl named Ann, joined as a housekeeper in a particular house. She used to cook delicious dishes and was very good at house keeping. However, none could control her when she showed signs of temper tantrums. The saucers in the kitchen would turn into flying saucers. No amount of advice helped her. One fine day, saturated with frustration, she asked herself, “How long shall I lead a life like this? I do not like myself.” Immediately she knelt down and with tears said, “Lord! Please transform me into a person who delights in Your ways.” God changed her heart as if He had been eagerly waiting for such a moment of true confession. Her life turned topsy-turvy for the better.
If only you would submit your life into His loving hands, many miracles will abound in your life. The Lord did not stop with that, He gave her the anointing and the gifts of the Holy Spirit. She just asked for a small measure of grace that is to say, “Lord please change my behaviour.” God elevated a lowly house-keeping girl and anointed her with His Holy Spirit.
No matter in what state or in situation you are in, the Lord is ever willing to seek and bless you. She was not only blessed, but became a blessing to the household and many others. The people in the town told others, “She is not an ordinary girl but ‘Holy Ann’”. When she passed away, many prominent personalities including the Mayor of the town wanted to carry her coffin. In this manner the life of a lowly girl was totally transformed and blessed by the Lord.
Therefore, be careful always to evaluate and see how your intimate relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ is and receive the abundant blessings that are in store for you.

Almighty God,
Help me to have fellowship with You always and in all situations. May I not be ruffled knowing that You are with me even when storms arise. Give me Your immense grace, mercy and wisdom to evaluate my relationship with You at every moment of the day. Make me glad this day and help me to accomplish greater things for Your glory.
