HAPPINESSSpeaker: Sis. Stella Dhinakaran Gist: Be glad and rejoice saying that Jesus Christ came to fill my heart with happiness. In what ways will the Lord grant you His happiness?
But let the righteous be glad; Let them rejoice before God; Yes, let them rejoice exceedingly (Psalms 68:3).
When will God fill you with happiness?
After making you a righteous person He would fill you with such exceedingly glad happiness. He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my steps. He has put a new song in my mouth; praise to our God; many will see it and fear, and will trust in the Lord. (Psalms 40:2-3) God will help you lead a holy life and enable you sing songs for His glory.
My dear Friend, “Are you longing to receive this divine happiness?” “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him” (Roman 5:8-9). God has redeemed you and He wants to make you glad. “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him” (2 Corinthians 5:21). He has cleansed us with His blameless blood and redeemed us. “And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, ….even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved)” (Ephesians 2:1,5) A man named Zacchaeus whom people called a ‘sinner’ came searching for the Lord and hid himself on a tree but the Lord came in search of him calling his name (Luke chapter 19). Remember the Lord desires to dwell in your house and abide with you always. The Lord is full of love and compassion and entering the house of Zacchaeus declared, “"Today salvation has come to this house,” He would grant you the same salvation.
“And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness.” Romans 6:18
God would cleanse and change you in such a manner. Therefore, be glad and rejoice saying that Jesus Christ came to fill my heart with happiness.
"I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. (Galatians2:20)
