A Good GiverSpeaker: Dr. D.G.S. Dhinakaran Gist: Remember you are never alone in this world when you have the Jesus of Nazareth abiding with you. Today God will fill you with His divine power. Nothing can by any means hurt you. God is a good and cheerful Giver. He wants to give us all that is in store with Him. "If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!" (Matthew 7:11).
Today He is going to grant you His divine power. The Bible says, "God has spoken once, twice I have heard this: That power belongs to God (Psalms 62:11). The Bible says, "Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?" (Jeremiah 32:27). "He does great things past finding out, yes, wonders without number" (Job 9:10).
The Father is Almighty and Powerful. When His only begotten son Jesus Christ came into this world, the Bible says, "And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, 'All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth'" (Matthew 28:18). Jesus Christ drove away the demons, healed the sick, spoke with authority and silenced the raging sea by this divine power.
When the time came for Jesus Christ to ascend to heaven, He called His disciples and said, "Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you" (Luke 10:19). God considered His disciples as His own children and therefore gave them the authority that He had. He desires that you should inherit all His possessions particularly the divine power to overcome all the forces of the enemy.
My dear Friend, cheer up today God is going to give you the precious gift of His divine power. With His divine power you can be more than a conqueror in any circumstance.
Several years ago, I visited South Africa. As I reached the airport at Johannesburg, I never imagined that it would be so chill. I was shivering and the pastor who had come to meet me, removed the woolen jerkin he had been wearing and put it on me. He asked me to take it for my possession but on the contrary he began to shiver. Love is kind and is ever willing to suffer. Just as the Lord grants His divine peace so also He gifts His divine power to us.
Remember you are never alone in this world when you have the Jesus of Nazareth abiding with you. Today God will fill you with His divine power. Nothing can by any means hurt you.
Prayer
Almighty God,
I thank and praise You because You always desire that I should inherit all Your possessions since I am Your child. Help me to always believe in Your name and claim all the promises that You have given me in the precious name of Your loving Son. Bless me this day with the indescribable gift of the Holy Spirit and make me glad.
