Therefore, they found the King of kings and the Lord of lords. "And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross." Philippians 2:8
While on earth, Jesus Christ humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death to fulfill the plan of the Father. Do you know that because of His explicit humility the Almighty God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name. He has also given power to that extent that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:9,10.
You can also see this act of explicit humility evident in the lives of the three wise-men who came to worship Jesus Christ. They were very learned people but still they prostrated themselves before the child Jesus Christ and revered Him. They submitted their worldly wisdom with great humility before the indescribable wisdom of God and sincerely searched for the same. Therefore, they found the King of kings and the Lord of lords.
In the same way, the shepherd who received the good news through the angels accepted it gladly without any argument and with great humility proceeded to Bethlehem where they found the new born King. Even after 2000 years, they are remembered and honoured for their act of unquestioning obedience and their hope filled words that is proclaimed throughout the world continue to edify us.
Dearly Beloved, today the Lord wants to honour you. Would you surrender yourselves into His loving hands even as He comes in search of you and submit to the wisdom of God with great humility? If you hear words spoken about Him today, would you hearken to that voice by sincerely seeking and trusting Him? Only then you will find Him, see the manifestation of His miracles and power. May this day be a day of miracle and exaltation to you.

Loving Lord,
I praise and thank You for showing us the way to exhibit humility in our daily life. In Your abundant mercy grant me the grace to submit myself to the wisdom of God and sincerely seek and trust Him in all my ways. Help me to taste Your power and bless this day with Your choicest blessings.
All glory, honour and praises belongs to Thee alone.
