SWEETER THAN HONEYSpeaker: Sis. Stella Dhinakaran Gist: As a spiritual mother in Christ, as led by the Holy Spirit, I urge you to read the word of God with all sincerity. Then as it is written in Psalm 119: 103, God's word will be sweeter than honey to your mouth! Today we shall probe into the various ways in which we can be a source of delight to our Heavenly Father. The Bible says in Psalm 1:2 "But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law he meditates day and night." The Lord blesses a man who delights in the word of God. Are you saying thus, "There is no blessing in my family. My children are not blessed with suitable life partners" The Lord will bless your family when you begin to read and delight in the word of God.
Do you know why the Lord gave this massive mission of the Jesus Calls Ministry into the hands of Bro. D.G.S. Dhinakaran? Day and night he delighted in the word of God. From the day I got married to him, I have always seen him with the Bible. My dearly beloved! How is your daily spiritual life? How close is your walk with God? How often do you read the Bible? Take time to analyze this very seriously. Transform yourself if there is a need. Everyday has its own burden and you may be busy with the chores of that particular day. However, spend few moments in reading the word of God. The Lord would surely speak to you through His word and lead you in a wonderful way on that particular day.
The Bible says in John 6:63, "...The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life." This same thought is also confirmed by the verse as found in Hebrews 4:12. The Bible says in Isaiah 66:2, " For all those things My hand has made, and all those things exist," Says the Lord. "But on this one will I look: On him who is poor and of a contrite spirit, and who trembles at My word." The Lord delights to look upon you when you honour His word. In Jeremiah 15:16, we read, " Your words were found, and I ate them, and Your word was to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart." Your experience of reading the word of God should be like that of prophet Jeremiah.

Determine and decide today to pray and read His word without fail then surely the Lord will bless you and your family abundantly.
Once there lived a man who led a namesake Christian life. He had never ever touched the Bible in all his life. Suddenly he fell sick and was admitted in a hospital by his family members. The doctors gave up hope saying that he would live only for a very short period. On feeling the impact of his illness he started to worry saying, "Oh! What would happen?"
One day in his loneliness, he took the Bible for the first time in his hands and began to go through it. His eyes gazed upon the verses as found in Proverbs 4:20-22. " My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart; for they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh." He felt a little funny and asked himself, "Are these words health to all my flesh?"
Then he began to meditate upon the word of God and felt the power in it. From then on, he was always seen with the Bible in his hands. The Lord spoke to him through His words, which are filled with spirit and life. Days rolled by and the doctors who examined him were surprised. They wondered and asked, "There is a lot of change in you. You could now be discharged from this hospital. Did you by any chance take any other prescription?" That man answered, "Yes, I did" and showed the Holy Bible. The one who could not be healed by a physical doctor was healed by the powerful words of our Lord. Surely, if you would also read the Bible with great care the Lord will bless you and your family abundantly.

Loving Lord,
I praise and thank You for Your words which are health to my flesh. Give me the grace to meditate upon Your word daily and with great care. Help me to derive all the blessings that You have in store for those who read Your word diligently. I would like to be a source of delight to You always. Keep me under Your mighty wings this day.
